    Seems like any time I send in a request, it doesn’t get filled…but the ones that are in the comment section are always put up right away.     I can’t believe you people asking what the IMDb code is. It’s the web address to the movie, so they can make sure they are getting you the right movie. Just so you know, you can’t simple download and burn these movies. You need to port it over into the right format, then burn it using Roxio or some kind of DVD burning software. That is unless you plan to just watch it on your TV, in which case…go for it.

    Why are some films 448 bit rate for the audio and some lower like 112 kbps bit rate for the audio. The files on this site have audio 448 kbps and it doesn’t run properly with some programs. Can’t this website source files that have lower audio bit rates like 112 kbps or even just a bit higher.

    I NEED HELP CONVERTING FROM DVD TO AVI, DIVX, ETC ETC FORMAT:

    i would like to know if someone can help me get the right video converter,
    i have tried several different one out there, but i can’t get the same picture
    quality with 700mb like you see here i get the quality like these movies but
    at 3GB file length.
    anyone know it would be great help

    I have used xilisoft, avi, magic, total video converter.
    XILISOFT IS GOOD, But i need something can give me great quality
    in less than 1gb to 1.5gb. anyone can help…………………………

    @Karan:

    I use mencoder (linux) for that, there are enough tutorials on google on how to convert a dvd to a high quality 700mb (approx) mp4 rip in an avi container with mencoder. If you’re on windows, you can compile and run mencoder in the mingw environment.

    your current problem is most likely a too high a bitrate for both the video and audio streams, so check if you can change those in your current converter. There are also some scripts on the net that allow you to calculate bitrates for a given file size. I usually choose 112/128kbps for audio and end up with approximately 700-1000kbps for the video part, depending on the duration of the video.

    I think they do a pretty good job at getting new movies. I have gotten some movies before they were even in theaters. Screeners are the best. Also, the movies from this site are high quality and worth the wait if it does take them longer to get a movie. When I download from other sites I usually end up getting viruses.

    This place is the best! Thanks for all you do!
