Heard the ‘devise’ release is ubber good
Is this better than the IMAGiNE version? That one was a little off on the aspect ration too. Was 16:9 while it looked better with 16:10 playback.

Was struggling to find a good server (since MU wasn’t up -yet-). In the process, discovered 2SHARED – WOW… 1MB/s (USA). Check it out… recommended. Can’t wait to see the NOIR version of AVATAR… Hopefully it’ll be even better than the previous up. Thanks OCM
The 2Shared links give a corrupt archive error – even after downloading each part twice =/. Wait for MU links IMO. Cheers!

Good quality. Thought it sounded off at first but I remembered that I don’t have the sound system of an IMAX theater. Thanks for the post.
IMAGINE’s version have a choppy video with a weird ratio, but a very good sound.
Noir’s version have a good video with a good ratio, but quite a bad sound IMO (I give it 6/10).
So I took the audio from IMAGINE and put it on Noir’s copy using VirtualDub.
Set the video options to “direct stream copy” (’cause you don’t wanna recompress ^^) and then save as AVI.
Now I have a nice AVI with a good video & audio.
Vision’s encode at 2.18 GB is said to be the best around so wait till OCM puts that one up

I was a bit disappointed by the quality, this is definitely NOT a dvdscr quality.

I ended up torrenting the full file (same release) and found it choppy and there were times where the thing just stopped and there was a few seconds of buffering happening. I think however that it’s because of how the xbox buffers, and it obviously would have a hard time buffering a 2.4 GB file. It’s a good release, but I think I’ll wait for any BluRay rip, and then use VirtualDub to split into 4 chunks of 600 mb or so, because the xbox never has any issues with avi’s that are 600-1200 mb (so far, anyways)
